Technology & Science

Where precision meets thoughtful care.

Great dentistry is a blend of experience, science, and the right tools. At Alexander Drive Dental Clinic, we use advanced dental technology and contemporary clinical techniques to support careful planning, accurate implant placement, and a smoother overall treatment experience.

Our technology helps us see more, plan better, and treat with confidence—while always tailoring care to the individual sitting in the chair.

Dental Cone Beam Computed Tomography

We use Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) to gain a detailed 3D view of your teeth, jawbone, surrounding structures, and nerve pathways.

This level of imaging allows for:

  • More informed assessment
  • Detailed implant planning
  • Improved understanding of anatomical structures

CBCT helps us discuss treatment options clearly and plan implant placement with greater accuracy before treatment begins.

Platelet Rich Fibrin

Where clinically appropriate, we use Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) to support healing following extractions or during implant site preparation.

PRF is created using a small sample of your own blood, which is processed to form a natural biomaterial rich in growth factors.

This material may assist with:

  • Supporting soft tissue and bone healing
  • Reducing inflammation
  • Encouraging a more comfortable recovery

Because PRF is derived from your own body, it is biocompatible and carries a low risk of adverse reaction.

Computer Guided Surgical Template

We use computer-guided surgical templates designed specifically for your anatomy. These guides are created using high-resolution 3D scans and digital planning software.

Surgical templates assist by:

  • Guiding the planned position, angle, and depth of implant placement
  • Supporting consistency between planning and surgery
  • Allowing for a more efficient and controlled surgical process

This technology helps streamline treatment and may reduce surgical complexity in suitable cases.

Digital Planning & Modern Equipment

Our clinic also utilises digital treatment planning tools, contemporary implant systems, and modern clinical equipment to support accuracy, documentation, and communication throughout your care.

We work closely with Smart Design Dental Laboratory, an Australian dental laboratory, ensuring collaboration between clinical planning and the final restoration—so form, function, and fit are considered together.

Technology doesn’t replace experience—it supports it.
Our focus is using the right tools, at the right time, to help patients make informed decisions and receive carefully planned care in a calm, supportive environment.
